Squirrel's got a hold of mine. Ideally looking to purchase in a month maybe 2 from now. Working on the 91 Formula we purchased back in April right now. Now if the price is right I may buy sooner.
If possible would like to get the relays on the drivers side firewall included with the harness as those little bastards got to at least one of those also. It's completely chewed through by those relays (including through the clutch master reservoir for my T-56) They chewed up the wires to the pass side injectors and they completely destroyed the wire loom by the hvac stuff at the pass firewall also. They left the headlight harness alone go figure. Would have rather they chewed it up.
Car was an auto but has a t-56 so I don't think it matters if it's an auto harness or manual since the auto connectors won't be used.
As you can see from the pics I need new harnesses.
Speed Density engine harness
90-92 Hvac Harness (From the controls to the blower etc on the pass side)
90-92 Cruise control harness
Can anyone confirm if the hvac pigtails for the blower etc that is in the rear pass corner are part of the engine harness or are they part of a different harness all together.
There are about four harnesses under the hood. The light harness, engine harness, cruise harness, and HVAC harness. The HVAC harness runs from the heater/a/c controls in the console to the firewall to the right of the trans tunnel, it has it's own rubber grommet where it goes through and to the fan, etc. The cruise harness is similar, with it's own grommet and hole in the firewall. The light and engine harness connect together at the bulkhead connector on the driver's side of the firewall.

Well $%#@ me! Is the HVAC harness the same on all 82-92 models? Where exactly does the cruise harness go into the firewall at? Not sure if that one is damaged or not. I don't think the headlight harness is damaged. I guess that depends on where it connects to the engine harness. :-( Raining again so I can't go look at it and trace the wiring loom down.
Yeah i got one for ya, its a used painless kit, all relays and computer included. its tuneable. it has a data cable OBD 1 that you can plug into your laptop. this is out of a 1991 TPI 5.7 Looking to sell the whole bolt in setup if your interested in the rest too
part # 60201 the extra long harness for '91 TPI from Painless
Just after the harness and considering the Painless harness is over $450 your probably way outta my price range. Especially when I already have an offer for the stock one (which is all I need) just waiting to hear back on how much it is shipped to me.

You'll need the HVAC harness from a similar year car. For a 91, 90-92 should be the same, maybe a few earlier years. Right off hand I want to say that the relays and connector at the fan changed a few times.
Cruise harness comes through the firewall under the steering column and brake booster, and follows the frame rail to the radiator support.
Well the headlight harness is ok. That is if the wires I'm following up to a rectangular connecter (plugs right next to the main engine harness in the firewall) are the correct ones. The cruise harness (If it's the one that has a single connector to the black cylinder on the drivers front then another connector to the proportioning valve or what ever under the master) then they got a wire in it (Think it was a tanish color with a black stripe) and I have no clue where it goes to. I started looking at the hvac wires after I looked at the drivers side so I could be off on what wire it was that was cut and missing the other end.
I think the 2nd cooling fan "switch" connector is cut off, and some blue paint on some of the loom. I think the charcoal canister wires were cut, extended and then shortened back up to stock. Other than that, its good, came from a running driving, very well, car.

Isn't the charcoal canister backwards on the Pontiac/Chevy's since the batteries are located in different spots unless the charcoal canister is something different then what I'm thinking.
Which would mean the wiring is different and the pigtails for the canister will be on the wrong end of the loom..... Doesn't the engine harness also hook to the battery?

Sooooo do you need this for a Camaro or a formula? If its for a formula, what I have will work. If you need a Camaro harness, grab one of those.
