WTB: T5 reverse switch for 83
Put this trans in and pretty sure this big bolt is where my reverse switch should be.
I have an 83.
Anyone have one?

LOL Well... That's a new one. I'm pretty sure God put that big *** bolt in there for a reason, and I'm not sure that you or I, really has the authority to go removing it.

I had a T5 one time with no plug in the oil fill hole. It just had a brass coupler and a 90* fitting with about an inch of garden hose clamped to it. Nothing in the end of the hose, open to atmosphere, but hey at least it was pointed up. LOL Shockingly there was hardly any oil in the trans when I drained it, drove ok, little noisy and 2nd gear was awol, no big deal.

Huh... you know... that 90* with a fill hose is a neat idea. Just pop the shifter plate off and top off the trans! But... with a cap on it. haha
These T5's are strange beasts. Some last forever and love to be abused and then most of them just die randomly at the worst times. Like locking up solid at 70mph on the highway in traffic. THAT was interesting!

Mine no longer goes into 5th gear...so I’m gathering up the final pieces to go 6-speed.
