TTA heads . . .

Anybody know where to find a pair of TTA heads?

I'd like to put a turbo 3.8 in my GTA, but from what I understand, The narrower TTA heads are required to clear the shock towers.

Any suggestions?

considering people put BBCs in thirdgen f bodys i doubt if you have any clearance issues in reguards to the heads of a v6.

I think the narrower TTA heads were used so that the A/C could be kept in the car as well. They are the same as the 3.0 FWD car heads from the same era. I am not sure what specific car though, maybe a buick century? You also have the option of swapping in a buick 3.8 turbo which others on this board have done I think. Good luck.

The original TTA heads were from a 89 LeSabre.

Be sure you are using a TTA block if planning on using the FWD heads. If you're using a GN block w/ TTA heads, you'll bump the compression higher, and not be able to boost as high. I'm using Complete '86 T-Type drivetrain and didn't have any fitment problems, (Besides no bolt in motor mounts). I don't have A/C either. Just a S-10 style A/C delete pulley. Good luck!

yeah you'll have to ditch the AC to use the GN heads, which is no big deal, hell I have a TTA motor and still ditched the AC

I believe the actual TTA heads were from a LeSabre but you can use a few different heads, not sure exactly what ones though..
