Anyone going to write a step by step LT1 install article?
I think this would be very helpful since there are a lot of people that want to do this. I am building my LT4 right now and I am getting all these different tips on engine installs dealing with the engine and block mounts and thier location on the k-member.
I am going tonight to help out with an LT1/T56 install in a 91-92 Camaro, I'll be taking a bunch of pictures.

I think that is a great idea as well, there isn't really one comprehensive source of information on the swap. As it is you have to do a lot of searching and reading to get a general idea of where to start, but nothing exists that is step by step.

Well, I helped drop an LT1 into a 91 Camaro today.
I could attempt to start writing a small article of what we do, but I am not that good at writing.

Well, I guess between the group of us helping put this LT1 into the 91 RS, I think we could attempt to write an article.
If you wanna see some pics, check out the thread I started in this forum, A.P.E. Thirdgen Performance.

Im doing a LT1 swap into a 90 RS. The motor is in, everything is hooked up except for the A/C lines. Harness has been reworked but there seems to be a problem with the VATS bypass module that was installed for the 96 computer. The voltage output doesnt seem to be correct on the module aarrrgghhh. Its the only thing stopping it from running. I also swapped in the 4L60E with it too. Anyway, I found a lack of a good write up on the web and think it would be a great idea.
Hey guys, I too would like to help write and article or guide. I am in the process right now. I have the motor in attached to my TH-350 and the fuel lines in, gonna put in the tank, and then tackle the wiring, exhaust, and putting in the radiator. I am trying to get it done before I have to go back to school. Which is in 2 weeks......you think I can do it?

I think you can do it if you have the time and the money.
That is all it takes. I've got plenty of time, just no money.

After Christmas and the New Year I'll start on a swap guide. I've been wanting to write one ever since I did the swap but I've never had a chance. I'll get started on it after the holiday. What I'll do is write it from my experience, then everyone that did something different can throw in their thoughts and ideas. Hopefully I can get this done before I head back to school, otherwise it wont get finished till summer.
At the same time I'll update the Swap Registry, I've got it mostly updated but havent uploaded it. I'll get the finished as well.
In fact, I'll make a new post at the top concerning it, so check that.
