1 more question.

i have been searching this whole site finding any info on my swap. but this is what i am a bit hazy on. the motor i have as everthing on it includeing the trany, was basicaly pulled right out nothing removed from it at all everything that goes on the motor is still there, includeing the belts and hoses. now i got the mounts and rad, headers, exhaust y pipe. is there anything else i need. oh i am goin to see how the springs handle the motor before i decide on to change them or not. swap is 84 v6 carb to 85 v8 carb.

all i no about the tranny is that it is a 4 speed and its auto. the fuel regulator on the v8, there is this round thing that deals with the fuil system the line was just cut is that a regulator? what i mean is do u need the fuil regulator not matter what of does a v8 stock motor have one i can just take off? tryin to do this cheap. lol

Looks like you have about everything,My 84 was not fuel injected, has no fuel pump in tank,so not sure you would need the regulator.

didnt notice you had the v-6 carbed so I would guess you dont need the regulator......I am glad I did the swap..it did take some time and alot of research..im still messing with mine 1 year later. If you run into any problems i would be glad to help...the tranny is a 700r4 if it is the 4 speed OD....sounds like you have most of what you will be needing...have fun
