305TBI to 350... carb, TPI, or TBI?

I want to stay cost effective but still would like to make SOME power... Im going to build the rest of the car up and then when money permits out of school drop in a bigblock with some snails...

I think a 350 carb would be the most cost effective and be able to make really good power.

Depending on your emissions standpoint, I'd say that carb is the cheapest way to go. It won't necessarily make the most power out of those three choices but it definitely will be the cheapest.

I would also agree that carb would be the easiest and the
cheapest. You can get a decent Holley or Edelbrock carb
cheap these days, a nice performance one at that. If you
need to go more power, you can always "tweak" the
carb later on.

But I would go with TPI out of all of them. That would look
cool. Have a nice, ported and polished upper and lower
plenums, or have them spray painted to whatever color
of your chosing, with high temp. paint of course. You
can buy a complete TPI system for a few hundred bucks,
but you'll have to look around a bit for that. Plus
the "headache" of getting a complete wire harness and
ECM, then installing it!

Or just buy a carb for the car, I'll shut up now

Go with the carb...simplicity and low cost are what you want, right?

carbs ur best bet...but ur gas mileage will suck...i have tbi and making the swap..i think ill transfer the tbi..but ur best bet is a used tpi..for a few hundred bucks..i know on this website there are guys selling them..check it out..ull get awesome power..quick throttle response and decent gas mileage(better than carb)

If you can go with tpi. Especially if this car is your daily driver.
