If I replace my tired ol' 305 with a 350
in my '89 RS with 5 speed manual, Do I need
to change other drive train components?

you wont have to replace other drive train components as far as size goes (they will all fit), but you will probably want to if you are going with a more powerful engine because of durability reasons. that tranny isn't known for being strong (that's why they didn't even have it as an option with 350 cars). also, eventually, the rear end will need some attention.
