will it work????

i got a carberated 355 im putting in a 89 rs could i use the stock electric pump ran thought a regulater then to the carb and get good pressure???OR sould i take out the rearend (for the 3rd time this month)drop the tank take out the pump and run the mechanical pump???

How would i hold the fuel line in the tank if i wanted to run the mechanical pump?? i built this motor to be sprayed a least a 225 shot and more.

i heard that if you run the stock electric pump to a regulater and upped the psi you can with stand big hp of spray like this on a carb.
Would i still need the t.b.i. computer to do this???

uuurrrrrr so many questoins so little time.

any info will be very helpful serriouslly!!! thank you

As long as you use a regulator and get it down around 6-7psi you should be fine with your stock pump. Also, you don't need to keep your ecm, just keep the fuel pump relay and it will be fine.

Use a regulator that includes a return port. Dead-heading the in-tank isn't a good idea (will overheat).
