Where to get a new 350
I'm looking for a 4 bolt main 350 for my project car, and was wondering which would be a better choice, getting a long block out of a Pick-a-part, or simply ordering the Goodwrench 350, and don't say crate motor, because I don't want to spend 3,000 dollars on something that will have everything replaced on it in a year.

I'm probably going to go with the longblock, then save my pennies and get some 18* heads, to accompany the 18* intake and two turbos and innercooler I have right now. Thanks for the help guys

You do realize that 18* heads take different everything including pistons (which that motor's pistons will NOT work) and that cast pistons will likely grenade under any kind of serious boost.

don't buy a budget short-block, and then expect to throw insane horsepower at it and expect it to live long.
if your going to have a 18* headed, forced induction motor, your going to be making power, get a short block that can handle.
forged internals, and top dollar parts.
that way your $8000 engine you built with a cheap bottom end doesn't throw a rod 3,000 miles down the road.
