Leave it FI. The induction set-up on the LT1 is plenty to feed that motor. You will lose all the advatanges of a multi port set-up if you go the carb route.

If you want a carb, get a traditional SBC. It's completely pointless to get an LT1, rip off the fuel injection system that you paid so much for, then reduce the potential of the engine by slapping a carb on it.

Agreed... if you want a carb'd motor, go get a junkyard 350. That will be cheaper to build than an LT1 anyway.

the LT1 with fuel injection is like THE FORCE! USE THE FORCE! We'll help you get it done, don't worry about all the wiring and whatever. get as much of the harness as possible. I had an entire buick station wagon harness but that was a little excessive. Label everything! evenif you don't use it, label the connector anyway it will help

I think he is asking if he should put an Lt1 intake on the engine he already has. And also, when is fuel injection better than carb and vice-versa.
Sorry...can't help with the Lt1 intake on your current setup but someone on here will probably chime in.
