Why would either of us want to put any twin turbos on? We dont need that crap, we make power at the motor, thats where it belongs. You dont like that, too bad. You dont like the fact that someone called you guys out on your worthless rambling about

900hp, 2 speed powerglide, running 8.5's and getting 30 mpg <noted sarcasm>

Sorry man, that part is over. Its done, go back to your fantasy land.

Curious, what do you run at the track?

BTW, nothing fantasy about the times and figures posted..but then again what do we know, we've only done the swaps...Steve has only run the times....

but then again we're all know nothing losers that are just talking out of our asses

Very typical among the SBC guys that can't admit when something OTHER than a carbed small block provides good power. News for you bud, there are other ways to make power aside from a 350 and an ancient dinosaur we call a carb.

At least The General shows respect.

Nevermind, you aren't worth anymore of my time.

You win. I lose. You're 100% right and I'm 100% wrong.

I know nothing, you're the all knowing turbo ***(even though you say all motor is the only way to make power )

Also, why would someone sit there and take the time to lie about freakin gas mileage? I mean come on...I think if someone would lie about something they'd make the lie up about a slightly more import issue/topic

Yes all motor is the way to go, and yes i do think turbos suck. One thing for sure that you are wrong about is carbs. The car I just started working on has the first carb that I have owned in 6 years on it. I like fuel injection, wish I could have it on everything, just cant afford it. I never said anything about a crb being superior to fuel injection. I would accuse you of puttign words into my mouth, but I dont want to sound like you guys. This is quite funny actually. OOOOOOOOHHHHH, I am scared of your turbo! Oh dont scare me, When those six little hamsters start screaming I'm sure ill be terrified. You guys have the fastast cars in the world after all. As a matter of fact I think i might have saw yours setting a landspeed record in that salt flats, didnt I ?

My IQ level just dropped after reading that.

So tell me, since you seem all high and mighty and superfast what are you running. I mean surely if all motor is the ONLY way to go surely you could beat any turbo car out there

and I know the potential of carbs...I just don't like them. I knew taking a little poke at carbs would get a reaction from you...so predictable

Wait a minute big guy, I didnt start talking the trash here. I called BS on what I and the general think is BS. It dont matter what the hell my car runs. Go through this entire thread and tell me where i said my car was faster than yours? Ok smart guy, now go through the same thread and show me where I said that those cars arent capable of those speeds? Cant do it can you? Didnt think so. So, basically this puts us right back where we started at this: If your car goes that fast, runs that 1/4 time, and has that many horses, it aint getting that kind of mileage. Plain and simple. The general agrees and I agree. If you want to debate this keep on posting. If you want to turn this into a **** and **** match, then do it by yourself. Talk to your ric*r buddies and ask them what kinds of mean V6 talk you can give me.

and I'm saying you're wrong about the mileage(which is a mute point now anyway) because I've seen it. But whatever.

So now we're ricers? LOL why's that? Because we run turbos...get a clue dude.

Actually you want to know the truth, what you read is what I am running right now and let me tell you why. I have a four year old son with a bad heart that requires every single penny that i make to pay for medical bills. I cant afford a power bill i cant afford anything but his medical bills, and there is a good chance that he wont make it much longer. So i guess that I should ignore this and make it my lifes goal to make sure that I can beat your turbo car. OOOOOO you can go faster than my car. Big deal, probably half the cars here can. Doesnt matter much to me.

No, I could care less if people like turbos are not but to sit there and take opinions and try to pass them off as facts(not sayin you were) is what gets me going.

Like I said, I know nothing about the topic...I'm just talking about my ***..the stuff I've seen with my own eyes and stuff other people have done are just meaningless.

So with that said I'm taking my "*****" *** outta here and calling it a night

Sorry about your son but this thread is not the time nor the place for it. You shouldn't bring that up here dude.

Actually you could beat my car since it's off the road right now, I too have other priorities.

The contradictions you have made in some of your posts are comical, but I'm not gonna sit there and go through them all, I have to get some sleep.

Good luck to your son.

If this is true I wish the best for you and your son and hope everything comes out for the best in the end. If you truly feel that he might not make it much longer, I'd suggest spending less time in petty arguments on the internet and more time with your son. Cherish the time you have.

Now that doesnt mean I'm changing my stand on this though. What I've posted is truth, if you dont belive it fine I have nothing to prove to anyone but myself.

thats all anyone has to prove man thats the whole reason we all build our engines and work on our cars ......there are people who like turbo and people who think a naturally aspired car is alot cooler of a ride cause when you can pull a ten sec quarter on all engine then thats impressive .....

Because of something similar like this happened not to long ago. A group of guys that think they know something about a swap that they have never done themselves but seen "stuff" on the net about it tried tellin this guy that it was worth the time and money and so when I tried to tell them about the swap they called me a liar and stuipd. lol. It delt with modifing a LG4 305 and putting a blower on it. I told him not to waste his time, I have seen it done many times and I have done the whole modifiing the 305 and told the guy to just save for a 350 or bigger if you want to build a cheap hp/tq engine swap. One of the moderators didn't agree with me and decided to put me on probation.

Its no big deal. I just can't go into my user cp, or edited stuff I posted. No idea how long it goes on for though. Chances are they will forget about me and I will be on probation forever. :lala:
