Are you going to use the throttle body injection still, or are you going to switch to tuned port?

Answering that question will help answer yours.

Both are junk when it boils down to it. Howeverm to go to TPI you are going to need a high flow fuel pump along with all th wirings and sensors that come off of the other motor. If you have all of the stuff out of the donor car the swap is straight forward.

Well TPI is mpfi but it is not a very good one. I would look into the LT1 intake swap or the stealth ram option. Another alternative is the miniram but it is quite expensive.

Of the two FI setups, I would go with TPI myself. The TBI is basically a CC 2bbl carb, but TPI is a real fuel injection system.

What you are trying to do is a waste of time for the gains to be made. A couple of reasons to many imcompatible parts, TBI 305 to TPI system. And if you don't have everthing for the TPI its going to be hard locating & the money factor. Think this project thru or you will have a undriveable car.

No one questioned will the Engine & trannyl fit, Its the other important parts that will make it driveable that are important. One example: The wiring harness for the TPI and this is only one.

Everyione thinks a backyard engine swap is cheap because you have a motor. Big deal.

Let the screaming begin how cheap it can be done for. lala: :lala: :lala:
