I called a local Yard today called Pro Auto Recyclers...I found a 95 LT1 with computer with only 65000 miles and they quoted me a price of $700, and they are even going to test run it for me to make sure nothing is wrong mechanically. I think I will also pick up the tranny with it for another 450. NOw I am finally ready for my swap!

 

Hopefully the price includes everything you need to get it running in your car.

What else should I need for the swap besides the Engine, computer and ecm?

 

I have basically figured out all I will need for the swap, but going from my TBI to the 95 LT1, will I need to change the power steering at all? I also dont plan on using the A/C, do they make an idler pulley for the A/C Delete?

 

I also know you need to replace the VATS module. Should I get the VATS module out of donor car? Thanks

 

Is the tranny a T-56 or 4L60E?

I know where you can get pulled LT-1s out of cop cars for about $500. There are also ones still in the cruisers. Let me know if you're interested. It's in the Philly area.

 

I will keep you in mind when time comes to purchase. It is still a few months off though.
