What is your intended use for the car after the swap? Daily driver? Occasional driver and occasional racing? What transmission do you have? Do you intend to keep your TBI fuel injection, or go with TPI, or aftermarket FI, or carb?

Why are you asking about Corvettes?

Did Corvettes have 4-bolt main 350 motors? That might be a reason. I'm just throwing out ideas.

ok, to answer quistions. i use it as a daily driver but also bring it to the track and do some street racin. i dont want a TBI, and would preferbly want FI but heard its hard to wire and stuff, but anyway i was askin about corvette motor bc i think i might get ahold of an 84' corvette engine. would that engine work for my car fairly easy??

Of all the possible Corvette engines to choose from the '84 "crossfire injection" engine is the 2nd least powerful right behind the original blue flame straight 6 from the very first year. I'd look at other years.

No.

Almost anything can be made to "fit".

Most likely yes.

The first REAL fuel injection system the 'vette got was TPI in 1985.

CeaseFire Injection wasn't much more than a CC 2bbl carb X2, and the old mechanical fuel injection systems were not much different than the truck carbs made now that are made to handle weird angles and G-forces.

And a Corvette engine is basically no different than a Camaro engine externally. The only major difference is the oil pan.
