New Wheels for my 91 LS1, and a new engine pic.

I was able to wash my car today quickly and snap some quick shots of my new wheels I got a couple months ago. I also threw in an engine pic, beware the engine is dirty though.
Later,
Brad

Thanks guys!

Yes they are Vintage Wheel Works V45's, and yea that car is the same color as mine is. In fact that's why I didn't go with a TT2 polished wheel because on this color that combo seems too flashy for me, and I like the way they look on there now.

I also liked how Vintage Wheel Works was able to make and send them out within a 2 day span, instead of waiting a month or more for custom backspaced American's.

If that is a dirty engine, sign me up!

beautiful car Cobrakilla, and I love the wheels. What size are they? Did you do the engine swap? Any mods to the LS1 or is it stock?

p.s. Whats that lurking in the garage in the 3rd picture?

Thomas- Thanks, the wheels are 17x9.5 with a 5.5" backspacing. Yea my dad and I did the entire engine swap, Speartech did our harness though. The engine is stock right now yes, I do have a cam for it though and all that. But it needs to be smogged in Feb, so I'm kind of waiting for that to be over before I do anything more. There's a few things lurking back there, the 98 TA is in the pic, the other 2 stalls have Corvettes in them. My dad's 74 454 4-speed Vette Convert w/ 50k original, and our 04 Z06.

90firebird- Thanks man! You'll get there soon enough, keep up the hard work.

Sounds like you guys have a nice little collection going on. Man, that 74 has to be pretty sweet. Where did he get that one? You ever get to drive the Z06? What cam do you have? Again, very nice work.

Air_Adam - It's a quote from Tommy Boy ya know where he's driving around in the gtx? I just thought it went with the car, because it is so clean.

Thanks again everyone.

Yea we got a car or two My dad's had the 74 for 22 years now, doesn't hardly drive anywhere with it. The Z06 is sweet, yes I drive it I paid for 1/3 of it, it's "our" family car so to speak. Meaning we all own it and get to drive it. I have a TH224/112 I took out of my friends old SS when he sold it, he stepped up to the G5x3 in his Z06.

what size are the wheels, 17x9.5" ?

What would the 17x11s on the rear look like? anybody got any pix? Opinions good or bad? i'd love to stuff a 315 in the rear but i seen a pic of a TTII one time with a 17x11/ 315 combo and it looked terrible, way too deep of a dish.. perfect dish is the firehawk wheel, anybody know the spacing on it??
