old accsories on lt1

hey just wondering if any body has been able to use the original accsories in there lt1 swaps. the accs are from a 92 firebird tbi any help would really be appreciated thanks

The only way that it could possible work is with spacers. I am not sure if this will even work or if anyone has even tried it. I remember this being disscused awile back. It is easier to run the 4th gen ones and notch whatever you have to in order to clear the AC. The Vette accessories are prefered.

I believe f-crazy did the LT1 swap keeping his accessories. contact him. for the amount of work to do it, sure you'll come out a little ahead on money, but for the amount of work involved you'd be better off using the LT1 accessories, especially the vette ones if you can get them.

thats the problem all ive got is the engine none of the accesories computer or wireing the engine only cost me 250 so i guess i got what i paid for

then save up the money if you have to and get the vette accessories, you'll thank yourself later.

don't even bother going to GM for them, you'll spend 5 times what they are worth. Search local junk yards first, then start looking around and you should be able to find them for a pretty reasonable price.
