L03 to L98

Here is the thing I have a L03 with a 5 speed manual Borg-Warner transmission (is that the same thing as a T5)
Well the L98 is is for a Automatic vette not sure of the transmission spec. My question is will the flywheel from the L98 work with my 5 speed manual Borg-Warner transmission
If it wont work can I use the flywheel from the LO3 and just press a new bareing in?????
Any suggestion would help thanks want to get the car back together soon thanks

If the Vette L98 is '86-later, the flywheel will be the same. If it is '85-earlier, it is different and you'll need to get a two-piece rear main seal 153-tooth unit.

Something sounds pretty weird there.

Its the oilpump and the splash plate that is keeping the oilpan from fitting can use the oilpump from the 305 will it pump enough volume to a 350

There shouldn't be any difference between a 305 and a 350 oil pump. I'd at least put a new pump on - a Melling M55 should fit, depending upon what splash plate this is that you're talking about. I don't have a lot of hands-on experience with Vette parts, though, so maybe that's all you're got going on.

I'd check into that first.
