Engine and tranny swap
I am in the middle of swapping out my 305 auto for a brand new ZZ4 and rebuilt 5 speed into my '88 IROC convertible.
Does anybody out there have the measurements and a photo refference of the hole that I need to cut in the transmission tunnel for the shifter?
Thanks if you can help; I will post this on the tranny board as well.

Did you check the Tech articles on the thirdgen.org homepage?

Yes I did see the tech article, but I won't be installing the tranny for a couple of weeks as it is out being rebuilt and I was hoping I could get a head start for when it does get installed.
At present I have no refference point for where to cut.
