LT1 fuel pump issue still/tranny wiring
i know i have posted this a few weeks back but i got the computer back after a second reprogram and the fuel pump relay will still not fire. I called 350lt1.com he is the guy that did the harness and he said to cut the white wire to the relay and run a 12 volt power to it and see it the pump kicks on. he said if the pump kicks on that it is the computer. well i did this and the fuel pump still wouldnt come on? but is i run a 12 volt power to the fuel pump wire the pump kicks on? is there a extra ground that grounds out the relay? when i hooked up the 12 volt power to the white wire on the relay i can hear it click like it is swoping over it just doesnt activate the pump????? My second question is since i have the 700 r4 and am not using the 4le60 is that going to afect the way the car runs. i was reading the post about the guy using a auto wiring harness on a t5 and it was said that it will run like crap? and if so is there wires that i sould hook up from the auto harness so it will run right? well what i have kinda figured out buy the tests that i have done is the fuel pump is good and the relay is good so it has to be something easy i hope anyway. any advise would be good. thanks sean

well guys i figured out the fuel pump thing it was a blown fuse i forgoy about the fuse on the fender by the battery. but still curious about the tranny question, if i should get it programed to be a standard since i am not using the 4le60 tranny?
whoever said they had an auto harness with a T-5 and it ran like crap didn't know what they were doing. all they needed to do was get the ECM reflashed with a manual program and it would have run fine as long as everything else was hooked up correctly.
as far as your situation, I dont know. never dealt with using a 700r4.

If I remember, if you are running a 700R4, you will need to get a throttle bracket for a 93 car so you will be able to hook up the kickdown cable which allows the tranny to shift properly since the computer doesn't control the shifts like it does with the 4L60E.
