I still working on my swap, i split the camaro engine compartment harness from the ecm. I have a few wires that i suspect need to go back to the ecm harness i.e. a black/pink and a green/wht. I think I need to get a harness from an iroc for under the dash from the ecm to the dash but im not to sure on what i need to do there. The engine is out of an 87 firebird,I unplugged the harness from the bulkhead. Ive since did the necessary trimmings to get rid of the plug. Now everything will go together, except i may or may not need some info on the wiring going back to the ecm,or coming from the ecm

will my plan work? i found a thread with the harness layout to the ecm. i guess ill have to figure it out, some input would be very helpful

 

What engine are you removing, and what are your putting in it's place? The "engine harness" that goes to the ecm should come out pretty much in one piece, leaving a separate harness for gauges, alt etc. still under the hood.
