Welcome aboard.

Have you checked the TPI forum? Searching there will probably yield better information than here.

The basics, as I understand them:

'85-'89 are MAF systems. The '89 was unique with the elimination of the cold start injector, supposedly possible due to improved PROM programming. 350 '87-'89 had slightly different timing tables, from what I understand.

'90-'92 are SD systems. PROM tuning is critical with any change to displacement or flow (cam change, for instance).

In all cases, 305 TPI used 19 lb/hr injectors, 350 used 22 lb/hr injectors. 305 and 350 have different knock sensors.

Other than that, the base, runners, plenum, throttle body, fuel rails, etc., etc., etc., are identical for any given year regardless of whether 305 or 350.

Starting with 86-1/2, Vettes used aluminum heads and the base was different because the aluminum heads don't have the exhaust cross-over passages.
