305 to 350

I have a 89 305 tpi and want to build a 350 for it, I think depending on the years there are different head to manifold bolt patterns. So, I was wandering if you guys could help me figure out which year 350 would work.

87-up are roller blocks

85-up are 1 piece rear seal

LT1/LT4 blocks wont work

Corvette heads and intake are different bolt patterns (they use pre-87 pattern) and lack EGR, so if you want to do the Corvette heads, get a Corvette intake

Also you'll need the knock sensor and ESC from the 350

'86-up are 1 piece RMS, actually.

'88-up self-aligning rockers.

Sure is hard keeping all this straight, isn't it?

I Believe the 305 and 350 camaro Intake manifolds are the same, But I was going to use Aluminum heads and probaly a edlebrock TPI intake. I was wondering do I get standard or center bolt heads and intake, and whats the difference

Yeah it sure is, makes it even harder to match all the correct parts together when you're just a beginner.
