Engine Swap officially underway

Well, as some of you may have seen me post before with all my questions of doing the 305 to 350 swap, I started pulling my 305 out back in Feb. Took me awhile to figure out what motor to go with, I ended up having a 350 built locally.

Its a 880 casting block
.030 over
Forged Flattop Pistons
ZZ4 Cam
083 Heads worked accordingly

I just got the motor back from the shop yesterday and busted butt all day yesterday and today and can happily say that the motor is now sitting in its new home quite nicely

I still have a ton of work to do getting the Manifold, Valve Covers, Headers and all my connections hooked up. But shes in place

Heres a few pics for you to take a look at.

I will post more as the project progresses.

Heres another from after when I got the intake and Valve Covers on.

It took me a lot longer than anticipated to get the tranny bolted up to the torque arm.... So I didnt get as much done as I wanted to, but its progressing.

Hopefully somwhere in the 275-300 range. Not looking for anything killer, that will be good enough for me.

good job! it's gonna be quite a rush going from all our underpowered 305's.

it'll wear off sooner than later, then you'll get the bug to make it even faster!

keep up the great work.

Keeping everything stock for the most part, save for the things that need to change to go to the 350. Knock Sensor, ESC and Prom.
