85 vette engine specs
Looking at a 85 tpi 350 iron head vette motor on ebay to drop in a 89 305 tpi firebird , I know the ecm needs to be changed but do I use the stock corvette ecm or a firebird 350 ecm ? .
Does anyone have any specs on a 85 vette motor ?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated .

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
Wasn't a lot different than the f-body. Had a little better exhaust.
Your '89 ECM will run it just fine. In fact, probably better than the '85 Vette ECM would. I'd suggest putting your TPI system on (no cold start injector) with the Vette injectors and knock sensor, and perhaps a chip from a '89 350 or custom PROM sometime down the road.
But there really isn't anything magical about "Corvette".
