It's a 4" bore block. The best way to figure out the stroke is to measure it.

Re: Help on block Numbers....

I also tried the engine serial on another camaro site, my guess would be a A or X body car. The block may be worth more to a restorer than you paid for it.

Re: Help on block Numbers....

Just saying that you could most likely make money selling it to someone trying to build a numbers car from '69.

Re: Help on block Numbers....

It could be either, you'll have to inspect it to find out. It's almost 40 years old, who knows what might have been done to it since it left the factory.

Re: Help on block Numbers....

The #'s say it was built as a 350, check the stroke on the crank to make sure.

Re: Help on block Numbers....

TO6I9HD

T = Tonawanda engine plant
0619 = June 19
HD = 1965 327 out of a full size car
HD = 1966 327 from a Vette
HD = 1969 350 from an A, F, or X body.

19b400087 should be the last part of the VIN number from the original vehicle.

1 = Chevrolet
9 = 1969
B = Baltimore assembly line
400087 = Sequential number. Number 87 in the production run in that year for the car style it was in.

Looks like you have a 1969 350. It was originally rated a 250 hp with a 2 bbl and had a TH350 behind it.

Re: Help on block Numbers....

Buy new main caps and get it line honed. Is it really worth it? It's just another 4" bore block. The crank is what makes it a 327.
