My first motor swap, tips from experts needed!!

I think the topic pretty much sums it up. I will be swapping the 350 from my 89 RS into My 91 RS. I will be installing Hooker 2055's, 180 deg stat,and fan switch at the same time. I am buying an engine hoist in the next couple of days.
Do I need to take off all the accessories, or can I leave them on and take out the radiator?

Basically, I need to know S.O.P. for an motor swap.

Axle/Gears: need 3.73
Yes, you can install the motor with the accessories attached. Since you are buying an engine hoist, I might suggest you get another tool that would connect to the hoist. Summit sells them, they call it an engine tilter/engine loader. This would allow you to make the fine adjustment need to slide your motor into your engine compartment.

I fully agree with 86z/92rs's recommendation on the tilt sling. It's great to have for any engine pull/install, whether "switch" or "swap".

The hoist I'm buying comes with the tilter. I'm getting one from Advanced Auto Parts for $220.
Any other tips?

Also, I know there is a site where you can enter the engine casting numbers and find out the year, etc. of the engine. Anybody have this link handy?
