5.0 truck engine fit into 91 camaro?
I recently bought a 89 peice of junk camaro that had a 5.0 in it so I can swap it for my 3.2 V6 in my 91. After pulling the engine out and breaking it down, I decided to run the engine code. It comes back to a 88 chevy truck. My plan is to make this into a carb'd engine. Will this still work with the camaro parts and transmission? How much more difficult will this make it? Will it be easier just to find an actual camaro block or heads? Or does it really matter? Any kind of advice will be helpful.

The truck block will work just fine. All Gen 1 SBC's are the same externally. It will bolt into the car just fine as long as you use the V8 engine mounts.
It will not bolt to your V6 transmission however. The bolt pattern for the bellhousings are different between the F-body V6's and an SBC
