what do i have to put in the car or change to make my 305 as fast as it can get and were can i get the parts to do it?

 

Question is much much too vague - there's endless combinations of things you could do, it all depends on your skills, your wallet, your imagination and your time. There's literally 6 months of reading in these forums about things that can be done. That's the place to start - start reading and reading and reading.

BUT - bottom line is, there's not alot you can do with the 305 - and working on a 305 costs the same as working on a 350 (all same $ for parts). Best option is to look for a 350 and throw the same money/parts at it, then swap when you get there.

Or, enjoy what you have and save save save for a LSx swap. Either way - spending money on a swap makes way more sense than throwing money at a 305 - they are great dependable little motors, but their not much for hotrodding.
