Read the sticky at the top of the forum on doing a BBC swap then ask questions.

Ok, so I am looking to put a 454 HO in it. Will I just have to get smaller fluid containers or will I have to do body modifications?

If you think your coolant fill tank and windsheild washer tanks are going to be a problem, then this might be too big a project for you.

You have to do a lot more than change fluid tanks....and most likely you wont be able to cram a BB under the stock hood.

Re: 305 TPI swap to big block
Replacing fluid tanks is okay, I can do that, and I will be getting a new hood to fit the engine. I am asking if body mods will need to be done and what wires and things I will need to keep from the 305 tpi for the 454 HO

Its still a vauge question. Read the 'sticky's' like AlkyIROC said, then ask questions. If "body mods" are refering to the front fender wells, then no 'mods" needed. As far as wiring goes, pretty much anything connected to the tpi's computer is a wash.

The sticky seems to have issues. Try this:

Re: 305 TPI swap to big block
I would be saying to check the sticky as well, but the links in it arent working so its not a whole lot of help. basically youll be getting rid of nearly everything related to your 305 and replacing it all with BB specific parts. lots of mods. this is not a project for someone with no engine swapping experience or wiring experience or fabing experience. do your self a favor and buy a SB 350. much easier to swap in for the beginer and still a VAST imporvement over the 305
