Engine Mount Bolt Question

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to look. I need a little help. It's fairly straight-forward, just cant seem to find the info I need.

I am dropping a 350 back into my engine bay. I pulled the old engine mounts out to replace them, and along the way seemed to have "misplaced" them.

Does anybody happen to know what size bolts and other hardware i need? I am in need of the fasteners that hold the mounts to the frame, and the ones to hold the engine to the mounts.

Re: Engine Mount Bolt Question

Mounts to frame = 3/8-16 x 1" + flanged nuts; mounts to block = 3/8"-16 x ¾"

All common parts store items

Re: Engine Mount Bolt Question

Also, would you happen to know the bolt size tof the long bolt that holds both mount together?

Re: Engine Mount Bolt Question

Should be a 5/8" bolt but is also a special bolt. Although you could use a generic bolt, you should get the proper bolts for that.

I know the bolt head and nut are 2 different sizes. Another of the 80's-90's General's inexplicable ideas.

My mistake, the bolt should be 7/16" not 5/8" All 7/16" bolts have a 5/8" head and the 7/16" nuts are 11/16"
