Gauging interest for production - swap headers
I posted this a year ago, and I'm asking again because I'm about to pull the trigger on this to get the ball rolling. Working currently on several partnerships, one of which is a local friend that did my 9" and cage work for me. I've paid close attention to the demands of the thirdgen community and one of the things we currently lack is a GOOD set of large primary longtube swap headers that aren't $1300 (looking at BBC specifically, but can also do LS1's and standard SBC potentially). Here's what I proposed:
Use my car as a Guinea pig to build a set of headers for the first set(s) to replicate from. The price will be $650 plus shipping/paypal fees. This is also through my verified business so I can take paypal, credit/debit, money order, etc and you will be provided status updates as well as a receipt and tracking information. I also have another personal contact that does ceramic coating that I could have done for the headers on request before shipping, but that will add an additional amount and time accordingly for obvious reasons (Advanced Hydrographics and Ceramics in STL, MO).
John has done an exceptional job on the work on my car, and I feel he would be a great asset to the thirdgen community because of his craftsmanship and attention to detail for the price. It's kind of a big project to take on, but I really hate seeing people on here not have a plug and play NICE custom header for the money (Dyno Don with his shorties being the exception). I'm in a position to step up to the plate. I will post some pictures of his work on my car as well as my close friends S10 headers he had made about 2 months ago. The cage work is 100% his work, I didn't touch my car outside of dropping it off for him to strip it apart and work on it.

We can do pretty much anything with any sizing you might need. Mild steel is our current choice but stainless is definitely a possibility. That will most likely push the material cost up, though.
What kind of header do you need?

Noted.
Our first set will be LS swap headers. The first set is currently reserved for Pocket, but I will post pictures of them when they are finished.
In the meantime I will post updated prices once I get things down on the different options (stainless, coated, etc). I'm dealing with several unaffiliated people for different things - so it's kind of a juggling act, haha.
