1988 RS Camero, 1969 Z28 350 engine swap

I have a 1988 camero rs that had an engine swap from a Z28 350 carbed. The folks who had it before me hard wired it and ruined the harness all together pretty much, it has shorts everywhere, the tach, and dash accessories ect... don't even work. I need to know how to go about wiring the 69' 350 carbed into the 88', Im using the old automatic T5 that was in there originally. Also I have been informed that I need to buy a new TCM for a 88 T5.

A couple things. . .

a 1969 Z28 came with a DZ302, not a 350.

Do you have an automatic or a T-5 (manual)?

Start by tracing the wires for your gauges and testing them with a multimeter (see if you can get the gauges to "jump").

This is the ultimate late reply but thanks I just got back into the Camaro and I have a LO5 from a 95 suburban in it about to start. At this time I'm having fuel pump priming issues. Not using ecm anymore.

That's cause the ECM controls the fuel pump. No ECM, no pump. You'll have to wire the fuel pump relay to come on with the key.

Thanks BIRD! What is the best thing to wire the fuel pump to as far as 'key-on' is concerned?
