hedman headers

i'm going to run a dual exhaust dumping into dynomax bullets... i seen a video and they sound raw.. i know some mods will probably have to be done but the workmanship is very good!! edelbrock wants 346 for theirs and their crimped like hell.. these are without a doubt the best bang for the buck iv'e seen in a while.. slp wants 400 for their dual cat without air headers, and they don't even include hardware or gaskets.. hedman rules!!!

I know what you mean, I bought the hedman shorty headers, and y pipe, it was alot cheeper than anything eldlecrap had they are very good quality. And they went in very will, only had to do a little modifcation to brake lines so that they werent too close, other than that it was a direct bolt on just as they said.

So, you liked that video then. I have a couple more pics of his exhaust if you would like me to send them to you. I also plan on long tubes with duals and dynomax bullet mufflers. I think I am going with hooker though because even though they are more expensive I have heard that they fit a lot better plus they have the larger primaries. I am also going to run an x-pipe if I can fit it. I think that is where some of his sound comes from.

yep!!! that's the only flaw i can see in them.. the collector's are only 21/4inches... i'm going to have a muffler shop expand it to 3 or atleast 21/2" hopfully fuel lines won't be a problem..

You mean collectors right. I didnt realize that their collectors were that small. Oh well, I bet that they are still better than most shorties.

...

I have the Hedman longtubes also, and they're very nice.... My only complaint was the flanges where they bolt to the heads werent very thick, and i actually warped them trying to "custom fit" the tubes with a BFH. So, the lesson is - start drinking AFTER the headers are installed.

huh?

i really don't know exactly what has to be done.... i'm guessing some fennesing of the pipes will be a must... as long as it dosen't rub anything i'll be fine.... i was looking in another thread and there was somebody that had em installed and said that a standard will have probs, but a automatic will be ok... my sales rep at jegs asked me if i had a standard or automatic, i told him and he said i'll be ok.... i hope it wont be a time consuming bending deal... i was wanting to run two straight pipes right off the headers...... and dump into the bullets in another post.... it will be good if i can get it going again...

These are 1 5/8s The only 1 3/4 long tubes are hookers which are not near as cost effecient.
