What's the right...

What's the right amount of space between the muffler and the gas tank heat sheild, also the I-pipe and the trans tunnle? I had a shop weld up my Hooker cat back and sometimes when it gets hot, it vibrates in those 2 places. My other worry is when I replace my motors mounts the Y-pipe will be to close to the floorpan. I am taking the car back to the shop and have them adjust it, just need to know whats right. Thanks

I would give about an inch or so around the exhaust to stop it from banging against anything.
