Let me know what you think guys! More clips later when I can get someone to rev it while I record.
You might have to right click and chose "Save As"

Anyone else have an opinion? I'm curious to know what Mr. Hooker himself thinks. I'm surprised that post ***** hasn't hit this post up yet

Ok, so my stock replacement ravin doesn't impress me anymore!! What series is it?? Is it the Z33? Sounds great, I will save for it, just hope it doesn't sound bad with a 305. It did have a different crackle when you reved it up.

I don't know what series it is, I'll have to dig up the receipt later. Its from Midas. The crackle is the muffler.
It won't sound the same on a 305, I know that. My friend has an 89 Formula with a 305 TBI and its much different. Its quieter at idle, and has a different sound when revved. I'm gonna try and get some out of the car drive by clips tomorrow.

Yeah I agree flows are way played out, everything has em now. You just end up sounding like a truck/suv/mustang with a flow.
Metallic - So I can order that at the local midas shop? How much?
I got a 355 with headers no cat (no mufller right now but need one by monday when I get my License back) and the Airgap manifold with a Holley so I'm expecting it to be as loud as you or louder

They do have different levels of the ravin. I think the Z33 is the loudest. And yes you can call them. I plan on getting the 3" when the money is there. I will see what I can do about getting a sound clip of mine. Do you think a dig video recorder would do the trick?

EDIT: I think Mark is avoiding this post cause he's afraid it'll sound better than Hooker

I am a huge fan of Flowmasters. I had one on my car before I put in the new engine. I don't really care for the sound of a Flowmaster on an F-body. The single pipe just doesn't do it for me. I would take dual Flows over any other exhaust any day. Because we are limited to single pipes, unless we get creative, I must say so far the Ravin has my vote. That just sounds badas$!!

LOL must be on a corner of something.
Damn well I sure did underestimate ravin exhaust. Got me some vorteks on the old 305. It is quiet at idle but Its a nice low pitch that gets louder when you romp on it. I figure a cam and some head would make it sound real good. Hey just a though I can make a Nice avatar or sig with these videos that you have. If you have some Ideas get out the Camera and tape some clips of your car. Interior, exterior, engine exhaust different angles. Just check out my avatar over<----there and get some Ideas. How about a burn out!
>hehe this Dudes last name on this tech support call is "Queener" LOL I think he is getting mad cause he heard me laugh. Queener, Queer, Qweefer, eeehh... I'm stupid.
