Is this bad....? (Video)
I posted a link to a video along with an explanation here, in the tech board: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...111#post868111
Nasty exhaust problem, I wanted to make sure everyone on this board saw it too.
Thanks.

I have a higher quality video (obviously posted that one for bandwidth reasons) and it seems to me like it has a grey-black-ish tint to it, which is what made me think it was rich for some reason.
Coolant and oil levels appear to be fine.
If it's a blown head gasket, wouldn't the exhaust have a sweet smell to it? It just wreaks of gas fumes.

Run the car until it gets to operating temperture and then shut it off and immediately pull one of ur plugs. See what color it is. if its black as hell then ur running rich. If its white then ur to lean and if its tanish then ur fine.

I pulled one of the plugs I could actually get to, heh....

This is with the engine COLD, I had not run the engine at all today. The pic sucks, but you get the picture.
The gap is not bridged as the pics kinda make it look, but it was covered in a black, shiny coating.

Get one of those ACTRON III fuel pressure testers from Autozone and make sure its for TBI cars. Test ur fuel pressure. I should be around 9-10psi if ur TBI.
Also some other reasons would be because ur CTS sensor is giving bad readings. (Coolant Temp. Sensor). It is the sensor located on ur intake manifold right by the thermostat. Its about 8 bucks and easy to replace.
Also, ur O2 sensor could be giving incorrect readings. I would replace that too.
Usually u will get codes for this type of stuff. Have u gotten an SES light yet?

Nope, no SES light.
I am TPI, not TBI.
Brand new Accel 19# injectors.
Still confused.
