just got my flowmater on....

Finally got it put on tonight, its just the muffler and huge chrome tips, the only reason i did it this way is because the muffler and tips were free, and i only paid 10 bucks to get it installed at pep boys...(i got the hook up) ...but all in all for 10 bucks its alot better than stock, no noticable power gains, but it sounds throatier(sp?)i was kinda bummed because i can barely hear from in the car but outside it sounds good...
just thought i would post and let everyone know, even though im sure no1 really cares :lala:

Good to hear you have a flowmaster now. I have a 3 inch cat back 80 series flowmaster on my 1991 Z28 5.7 Tuned Port Injection and it's really loud inside and out and I love it!

It'll really wake up when you get that stock junk out of there.

If you got a 80 series, it should be pretty noticeable inside the car also.

I dunno if its because i have the stock exhaust still in place from the manifolds to the cat back or what, but i can hardly hear the flow from inside my car, i need to get the exhaust leak thats by my cat fixed and that may help some but ultimately i need to get headers and the rest of the cat back...

my buddy has a dynomax on his 305 and it sounds great inside and out. believe it or not, it sounds like a quieter version of slp loudmouth off a 01 ws6 (we put them side by side). im stock on my 88 rag top 305 but very soon getting a dynomax cat back.

I was at a Thirdgen Meet in my home town and this one Guy with a 92 RS had a Custom 3inch I pipe going to a Flowmaster 2Chamber Muffler and wow It sounded way better than my Flowmaster Cat.

I mean It really sounded like True Dules i was in all of this car.

If I didnt care about haveing two pipes coming out of my Muffler Id rip mine off and Do what he did
