right now i have the crossflow flowmasters with 2 1/2 inch piping all the way. is it possible to get rid of the flowmasters and just get a pair of glasspacks instead? would there be any difference in performance?

A pair? Why would you get a pair of them. Just get 1 glasspack with either a 2.5" or 3" inlet. Then a turndown or something. Who care how it will look. It's not like you can really see it since its under the car.

I hate getting into this because it usally cause a fight but, Glasspacks suck and they also sound like ****, maybe they are better than they use to be but the still sound like **** to me anyway, they are more for the old hotrod's . Why don't you stick with the flowmaster, or get a edelbrock. Glasspacks look cheap and are cheap there junk. Now there is this kid around heer who has glasspacks and every body makes fun of him. Look if you like them then get them, And to every one that has them and likes them good, I am just sharing my thoughts, So if you want them byuy them but I would stick to a muffler like you have.

I fukin love glasspacks so don't say **** about them. I've had them on previous cars of mine and I have one on my Camaro now. I think they sound great. And to me, cheap is good since I'm broke. Besides, when was the last time you saw a flowmaster muffler for sale for under $20? Go ahead and bring the flame wars on.

Look I said that if you like the sound that is fine I don't, I am not trying to start anything hear, But I was just giveing him my views. Okay Maybe he is not broke and does not need to go this route maybe he thinks they are power makers and that they are better then his flowmaster (Which they aren't). All I know is that the only car's that have glasspacks now aday's are either old car's or **** boxes.

Sorry BLACK Z, I was just kidding. Didn't mean to offend you.

About those headers, The SLP 1 3/4" would work great for your supercharged car. They come with a y-pipe also.

I still don't know what you mean by a PAIR of glasspacks. Are you talking about having a dual exhaust system instead or the single?

I agree that some glass packs are good, but when I hear people talking about glass pack they seem to be talking about the cherry bomb type. I have know real experinece with the top of the line glasspacks though.
