Im getting headers and a exhaust system after x-mas and was looking at the T.E.S headers and Edelbrock cat-back.
I want to know if they sound good?
And if anyone has any pics of the cat-back on the car?
Thanks

I have the edelbrock headers and cat back, the headers are an awsome fit, they come with all the hardware so that they work with everything on the car, I did not get the coated ones though so they are starting to rust a little after a year being on the car, the catback is also nice, it has a different sound than most other cat backs which is why I like it. The whole system is stainless to so it doesnt rust, the tips are very plain though they arent anything fancy, they are just a pipe with an angled cut on it, I think they are pretty ugly but they tuck up under the car so you cant see them anyways.
Hope that helps, feel free to ask anymore questions on the parts

What kind of tone do they have?
And do you get alot of interior noise?
Thanks for the reply!

No matter what headers you buy, get them ceramic coated!
I recommend the SLP's over the Edelbrock.

they have a real deep sounding tone, I also removed my cat to make it a little deeper, there isnt much interior drone that I can tell.

I have the SLP 1 5/8" headers and the Edelbrock RPM Cat-Back on my 305 and I really like it. Its not too loud at idle but sounds nice when you get on the gas.
Here are some sound clips from a digital camcorder:
Exhaust sound - Revving
(don't think I went above 3500 RPM in the clip..did before the recording started though...;-))
Exhaust sound - Accelerating
EDIT: You have to right click and choose 'Save Target As...' for the clips to work...

When I was trying to decide what exaust to get (before i went duals) i was looking at the edelbrock catbacks. I have 4 or 5 sound clips of this exhaust and it sounds great.
I got an Edelbrock cat back system. Mine, however, is not stainless steel, it is the traditional aluminized or aluminum coated whatever. I let the guy where I bought them talk me out of the SLP version. My recollection is that SLP is stainless. I've always wished that I had followed my gut and gotten the SLP.

i dont habe pics of the rear, but it looks stock. 2 2 1/2'' pipes cut at an angle that end right before the bumper.

I have TES headers and Edelbrock 3" catback with the RPM series muffler. Mine is not SS, I wasn't aware that any of Edelbrock's catbacks could be had in SS, might want to double check that.
The headers do fit great, but if you are looking to make serious power down the road, I'd look into something bigger or long tubes. Other than the size and some restrictions in the primaries they are a great header.
I love the catback. Like mentioned it has a truly unique sound. It sounds great IMO.
I don't think I have any pics of the back, but check my website

It does look just like a stock exhaust with the tips cut parallel to the ground. Nice and sneaky!

I have an edelbrock cat back and it sounds great with my car. I use to have the edelbrock headers but i took them off cause they melt wires and anything that gets near them, plus the underhood temps was very hot. ended up puting back on the manifolds with a dual cat y-pipe and had my edelbrock cat back welded up to it. doesnt have the same sound as it did with the headers, but this combination still sounds great. sounded throaty and mean with the headers and cat back and its a good system to have. here is a pic of the back of my iroc to show you what the pipes look like. hope its good enough for you.

Damn those Edelbrock sound nice, I think that's one of the better systems I've heard:hail:
