heres a slightly different pic of the back, giving an idea of the ground clearance, which really isnt that bad.....
oh ya the exhaust has been on the car for about 9 months now, and in case you havent seen them before, the mufflers are 3" flowtech warlocks

do you have any more pics, I'm about to attempt it, and if I can run it out the back that'd be great, I'm amazed at how those mufflers are turned, yet you have clearance.

ya the mufflers are no where near the ground, id say at least 7-8 inches of ground clearance at that point. the outlet of the muffler is a little bit higher than the bottom of the bumper cover, and the pipe angles down somewhat to reach under the bumper cover and the tip straightens out a bit to make it look good i have one more pic of the exhaust but im not sure if you can see it any better. if you look at the mufflers in relationship to the wheels though, you can see that they are actually pretty high

oh ya, in order to accomplish this, the back of the muffler is very close to the panhard rod (doesnt hit it though) like 1/4" of clearance between them at the most

nope i have south side machine sfc's the exhaust runs down the middle, and the crossmember that you can see is welded to the sfc's and is where the lift bars bolt onto. the sfc's are nowhere near the exhaust.

lol, i couldnt really get a pic with the car on the ground
im assuming you wanna see the ground clearance. well the exhaust has plenty of clearance, except right by the tranny crossmember, which is the lowest point. This is only with 3" pipe though, my brother has dual 2-1/4 with the same setup and his clears fine. the mufflers in the back have a solid 7-8 inches of clearance

looks sweet you don't mind if i steal your idea do you
if you look in the exhaust pic you will notice that there is no torque arm, as the lift bars eliminate the need for it. the lift bar crossmember is located about mid car, several feet behind the trans crossmemberheres a better pic of the crossmember from the side

there is plenty of ground clearance id say at least 6 inches there.....if you mean between the exhaust and the tubes, its pretty small, but it doesnt ever hit it. because when the suspension compresses, the car moves down over the axle, and the exhaust is mounted to the body so it moves away from the axle during suspension compression, and it never extends far enough to hit either. the crossmember is 1 piece of tubing with brackets for the lift bars to bolt to. its welded to the subframes on each side with gussets.....its kinda low, but its not really a big problem, unless entering into a garage door with a steep entrance angle, etc.

nothing, it never extends that far unde driving conditions.....but if you jack the car up, you have to make sure you do it under the rear end, unless you take the exhaust off (not really a big deal) the exhaust has never been hit by the axle before in 9 months of driving (hit some mean bumps too)
i didnt believen it either, my exhaust guy kept assuring me he knew what he was doing, and he really did. i answered this in the last post, if you read the end of the quote that you used.

That looks very interesting. haven't seen one like that before. I like that fact that the pipes don't appear to hang down under the middle of the car. I have contemplated doing something similar, with 1 cgmaber flowmasters in front of the the rear axle, with turn downs instead of tailpipes.
but anyway, you did a nice job.

nope, that pic was from a car show at my school (it does look like the bleachers at NED though doesnt it?)
it was at western new england college in springfield ma
nope, i dont have any pics of the exhaust up near the headers....but it just comes straight back, and then (to answer momar) the pipe does habve to bend out and around the crossmember otherwise it would be in the way and it would be way to low....even so, its still the lowest point on the whole exhaust.
i dont remember exactly what the part number for my headers was...i dont have my paperwork here right now. They are full length headers though, they have 1-3/4" primaries (wanted 1-7/8 for more top end, but with this cam i need all the low end punch i can get) with 3" collectors.....they are about 10" long i believe the collectors that is. they are also fully ceramic coated
