Short or Long?

Ok....I am slowly building my car....Which type of headers are easiest to install? Shorties or long tubes? Which of each type is recomended to hook up to a Gutted stock cat and 3 inch catback? I want the power and the ease of changing plugs with headers..Which is best for each? I am also doing the job myself and need easy to install. And I am building a 355 to swap in and should be pushing around 390-400 hp when I'm done....Any helps appreciated

A set of 1 3/4 shorties will be the easiest, and would be a good match for that setup. 1 5/8 can support up to 400 hp.

Personally, I'll be putting out around 370-390 hp with my setup, I'm going with Hedman long tubes 1 5/8 headers, they're cheap

well you could go with the hooker shorties and have them jet coated, that way the temps will stay down. you should pick up a jegs catalog or summit, they have some good headers in there for our cars, you can get the catalogs free on there websites
