i have an '85 camaro iroc z (305 T.P.I., 700-R4 trans, automatic) and i was looking to buy a hooker cat-back exhaust system for it. this might be a dumb question, but i dont know if my car is High Output or not. please let me know if there is a way whether i can find out or not. thanks.

 

You have an LB9, the L69 was called the 305 H.O. engine. I'm not sure, but I think some do refer to the 305 TPI as H.O. also.

I'm pretty sure it's only for the HO 305 carb cars. Look at your cat, does the back end have a 4 bolt rectangular flange? if so, it will bolt right up, if not, you will need some fab work done.

 

You need PN#16822.

Make sure you still have the original catalytic converter though; should have 4 bolt flanges if it's the original one (as mentioned above).
