Wasnt that loud at first for me, but when I put my headers on it sounded damn loud, like 10 times louder. if you havent got headers get those and you will like the sound way more than you already do.

hey jay, good to see you like the Borla. I went with Edelbrock because I wanted it a little quiet. On my next car (newest camaro in 4 yrs) I'll put on borla.

ok guys i bought my BORLA system used from a wrecked 98Z so it was already broken in, and since it doesnt have a plate in the system to restrict flow through the muffler it sounds like a straight pipe, and i bet it sounds better. but i really like it and i cant wait to get my SLP headers so my whole exhaust will be Stainless Steel. but that wont be till next summer!
oh well i really like it and its really loud, a real head turner.

Do you know what all the shop did to make it fit or was it a Bolt on?

It's really a shame that SLP doesn't make the Loudmouth exhaust system for 3rd gens...at a sound-off in Orlando last month got to hear the LM and the Borla with open plate side-by-side. The LM is definitely louder...probably THE loudest aftermarket exhaust system on the market with the possible exception of the Braxxton chambered system...

...bang for the buck it wins hands down...for $279.00 you just can't beat it...

well the exhuast was an exact bolt on. dont let them tell you different. that is what the tech said.
and if you are serious about the LM being louder i am scared. i should have gotten that instead. but my BORLA is damn loud. too loud at times. my friends could hear me coming about a mile away on the highway. and i was only doing 55-60 mph. its fun though.

I don't know about all the "noise". I would like my exhaust to be as quiet as possible. Unless you have an 11 second car, there's no reason draw attention to yourself w/louds sounds.
I have this idiot, in my hood, w/an RS(not sure if it's a six or eight) but he's got the loudest and most obnoxious, m*ther f**king exhaust I've ever heard. We raced off the light and he lost miserably. There's nothing worse than a "dog with more bark than bite".

...hehehehehe, well I will have to disagree there...when I'm cruisin' in the Formula or the Hawk I want to be reminded of the glory days I used to cruise the streets in my Hemi and 440+6 MoPars with Hooker Headers and Cherry Bombs...

...I want to hear that sucking howl of an unsilenced air cleaner when I put my foot into it, and the rumble and roar of pure power coming from the exhaust...whether I be running up through the gears, or backing down through them...

...but hey, that's just me...
