Hey guys,

Sorry if this is a reaccuring post on this board, I spend most of my time in tpi/diy prom
But..
What are my header options? I need something without A.I.R but with an 02 bung. Can I get a list of headers that you guys KNOW WORK and also where is the cheapest place for slp? Thanks in advance!

SLP and other manufacturers make the headers without AIR tubes...jest ask for them. As for the O2, you can either specify it or dust drill the hole yourself.
There was a GP on SLP headers not too long ago, check the archives or SLP themselves. For less than $500 you can get the COMPLETE kit including shipping.

If you dont need the Air system you can go buy a cheap *** set of anything and have the O2 slot drilled out and tapped. its not that hard if you have the tools available.

I have a brand new set of SLP 1.75" headers without AIR, the single cat y-pipe and the (expensive) '82-'87 install kit which includes the alternator bracket. I would ship them to you for $450. Thats less than the GP price and you won't have to wait 6-8 weeks. These are brand new and there is nothing wrong with them, I just decided not to modify my car any more and am selling off the excess uninstalled speed parts. If interested send me an email to chuckb@1le.net

Oh, and these headers have the O2 bung already. Just unbolt the manifolds and AIR stuff, and bolt these on. You will have to replace (or remove) the cat with one that doesn't have the AIR line. I suppose you might be able to seal it off, but a new converter would really help make the difference.

Try Hooker Super Comp's. You can get them alot cheaper directly from Jet Hot. I just got mine and they're going in this weekend. www.jet-hot.com

Hey Iroc! Take a look a Jeg's, they have the Hedman headers #68470 { I think thats the #??? } with no air and also you can get a matching y-pipe to go with them. Headers are $99 and so is the y-pipe. I have the headers and I like them.
