best way to raise car when installing exhaust and header?

I have no experience installing an exhaust and headers, but my reading some of the topics, it doesn't sound TOO difficult. I was just wondering what kind, size, and capacity stands or ramps did you use.
THANKS

my drive way has a small slope at the very end but is flat before the drop so i put the edge of the ramps where the nicline starts and i can almost sit up under neath the front end......for the rear i can use a flat surface to back onto the ramps and get to everthing that way...may nee a floor jack to get the converter hooked up though, i would install headers, y and I pipe while the front is off the ground and do the rest of the cat back when the rear is up. and be careful stock camaros (even the sport coupes w/ no GFX) stillhit the ramps going up front-ways.....back is no prob. though....friend had an 86 SC and ran those bumper ette things at the bottom corners of the front bumper on the top of the ramp......i cant get the dam ramps to the tires with my GFX on my 91 RS....thats why i use that hill

oh yeah and good luck!

some of my favorite quotes:

I do not blame stupid people for being stupid, what i do blame them for is for not asking smart people for advice. When ever my mom asks for help, i tell her, i'm the one who knows what he's doing, not you, don't question me, just do what i tell you to. if stupid people would just realize they were stupid, and consult a smart person for advice, before they went and did something stupid and got pregnant/got someone pregant, this ****hole of a world would be a lot better. - adam corola

We just backed my car up on a set or Rhyno Ramps (rear wheels) and it was more than enough room to change the cat-back and the cat.

Note though: get a saws-all if you can. It'll save you about a year in labor and keep your arm from falling off from all that cutting.
