91Z 5.7 dual cats, lots of ?'s
I'm lookin at buyin a 91 Z28, it has the Dual Cats, and the hole exhaust is pretty shot. I am looking to do headers, and then a good catback. Also do i need to replace both cats, or should i make it into one, high flow cat? Also does Hooker make a catback for the 5.7, carparts.com isn't showing one for a 5.7, I found one for my friends 91 RS 305, but not the 91 Z28 with a 350, Is it all the same or not?
Also what headers do you guys suggest, I was thinking the SLP's, they look to be the most free flowing type.
What about the cats? Should i get dual CUTCOs? or should i make it into a single CUTCO? Or should it even be a CUTCO at all?
Sorry for the length,
Thanks,
Nate.

I just replaced my stock dual cats with Catcos they were only like $120.00 shipped to my door from Summitt Racing and arrived on a Sunday which I did not expect I ordered them on Friday. I would keep the dual cats since that is what your car came with.I also have SLP headers on my car which I have no complaints about.

Don't look to carparts.com for performance stuff, or most anything for that matter. Look to Jeg's www.jegs.com or summit www.summitracing.com

I'll agree with you about performance stuff, but it is an excellent source of stock AC Delco parts.
