Saw it on ebay....is it a good dual muffler setup...or is it really not doing anything?

Think this would work with a 2 3" pipes running down next to the driveshaft.....and say 2 flowmaster mufflers at the end?

I really tend to doubt it. First of all, How do you plan on putting two 3" pipes under the car? I lost some ground clearance due to a single 3" pipe. And second, my Edelbrock RPM Muffler is about the same size as the two that are for sale on ebay, but is sounds a lot better, more so as it is being broken-in. I would think you would have difficulty fitting 2 separate flowmaster mufflers under the car just because there is not a whole lot of room to work with (as you have probably noticed)...the flowmaster mufflers arent very small...

Well I havent seen the underside of my car in awhile...but I seem to remember seeing enough room to see a 3" pipe to run on each side of the drive shaft.....from each header straight back...i have one 3" pipe running along the passenger side with no problem....i BELIEVE the driver side has the same amount of room...could be wrong though....and a bit scary since the fuel filter is running down the driver side....as for the mufflers....you are right...the flowmaster I have right now does take up quite a bit of space (about 3 feet across I believe) but its really hard to tell how big the mufflers in that pic are. I was thinking 2 feet.....2 feet plus 2 feet...plus about a foot between the two..plus the tailpipes......I dont know. But I am content with my exhaust for now (will probably go with dual cats and a 3.5" pipe with 3" tailpipes to let my 383 breathe) but people are always asking for dual muffler setups

That might work well if you put dual 2.25 or 2.5 inch pipes down the middle of the car.
And I think when Mult68 said two flowmasters, you have to keep in mind that when using two... you areno longer using the 80 series (American Thunder) muffler. 40 series are probly not muchbigger than the ones in the pic.
Of course this is all pure speculation.... I wonder how that would sound/perform.
