New Flowmaster exhaust smell?

Guys-

I had a new Flowmaster system put on my car this weekend, and it really kicks *** , but I am noticing a smell coming from the exhaust...

The system is brand new, all the way from the engine to the tips, the smell was really bad the first day and has been fading since...when I get on the throttle it comes back a little stronger... is this normal?

Do these new systems make that smell for a bit until they are broken in? Thanks

When I put my cat-back on my truck it kinda smelt for a few days...come to find out it was the bar code stickers (whatever there called) melting off the pipes. Doesnt smell anymore just sounds awesome

Yeah, just gotta burn the stickers and stuff off, it'll go away in about a week or so.

When I started my car for the first time with the Force II kit it STUUUUUUNK. It smelled like an outhouse or something. I think it's the metal preservative burning off the pipes.

my friends headers had some greasy stuff in them. Maybe catbacks are the same.

Thanks for the reassurance guys, I was pretty sure it was just cuz the system was new, and now I'm 99.9% sure that it's either stickers or grease burning off...

It's the Series 50 Flowmaster setup, the one designed for the same performance output as Series 40, but with in-car sound reduction, and damn, does it sound mean
