the other day i finished with my hookercatback and a catco cat. it smells like roten eggs and it smells kinda rich. will this smell go away after the cat is broken in. and how could i lean out my stock qjet. please help me.

Yeah, that's normal...

I just got my new exhaust system and it put out a burning smell that diminished after a week or two before it was broken in...

The systems have preserve chemicals sprayed on em to prevent rust and corrosion, and when you drive with the new exhaust, it burns up those chemicals, enjoy your new system!

also with it brackin in will it give like that little bit of like white some but its not smoke its almost like when u start the car in the mornin it has like a little bit of white gasses or smoke comin out is that aso the system breakin in.

Yes, that "white smoke" is actually mostly steam coming from the catback, I noticed alot of it when my system was new, it is also normal and will lessen with time...

You may also notice a litte water coming out of your pipes, either in normal driving or if you rev your car, that's condensation and is normal with performance exhaust systems...

I had the same problem after I had the cat-back and new cat installed. It's starting to go away.

Wait for your system to break in a bit before going for inspection if you can...

The only time I ever really see the steam is in the morning or evening when the air is cooler outside, the amount should go down as your system gets broken in...

Do they really fail you for putting out steam? I find that hard to believe...

yea they fail u for visable smoke or anything that isnt suposed to come out of the tail pipe. i think ill just call like dmv or someone that i could ask if that could fail me. if so i think i just might call someone to get me to pass
