The first one has a larger volume sound chamber, hence a little less noise.

The race bullet muffler is like having no muffler at all. It was designed for racers that run in classes that require a muffler.

yeah i know..........

what do you think sound will be like with it? i know its like open headers, but at 600 rpms idling it cant be THAT loud. i like it loud, my current setup is in my sig, and it aint loud enough - well it is but it could be louder. cops here are real easy on exhaust. my buddy has a high performance 350 headers dual 3" dual flowmaster 40 series and its loud and real low. he has had no problems at all with cops. i would never run around with just open headers tho...........
what about this muffler?

I think that that muffler is a good choice. It flows a good amount of CFM and sounds real nice, has fully welded casing and it's a good price. If I could find my Dynomax catalogue, then I can tell you how much it flows.....

well i made a compromise....
i ended up purchasing this one. It should flow plenty, be a little quiter then the bullet, and have plenty of ground clearence. I plan to put it before the rear-end and have it dumped. I sure hope is sounds ok.
